Product Description

Fix-A-Leak Hot Tub, Spa & Pool Leak Sealant is a concentrated, professional-grade solution designed to seal hard-to-find leaks in hot tubs, spas, and pools—without the need for costly repairs or digging into foam insulation.

Formulated to work in both shells and plumbing, Fix-A-Leak travels with the water and seals leaks from the inside out. It is effective on virtually all spa and pool materials and is ideal for leaks that are difficult or impossible to access.

What Fix-A-Leak Does

  • Seals cracks and holes in spa shells and plumbing
  • Forms a strong, long-lasting seal
  • Works on most pool and hot tub materials
  • Ideal for hidden or underground leaks

Dosage

Use 8 oz per 1,000 gallons of water for minor leaks. For larger or persistent leaks, a second bottle may be added.

How to Use

  1. Determine water loss over a 24-hour period.
  2. Refill spa or pool to the original level and mark the waterline.
  3. Remove all filter cartridges and filtering devices.
  4. With the pump running, slowly add Fix-A-Leak through the skimmer.
  5. Recirculate water for 6–8 hours, then shut the system off.
  6. Check the water level the following day.
  7. If the level remains the same, the leak has been sealed.
  8. Allow 48 hours before resuming normal operation.

Important: It is recommended not to use the spa until the leak is fully sealed and the remaining product has been filtered out.

If the Leak Slows but Does Not Stop

  • Add additional product to strengthen the solution.
  • Stir the water gently with a soft broom to re-suspend the sealant.
  • Repeat the circulation and waiting steps as outlined above.

Product Notes

Fix-A-Leak typically seals holes and cracks up to approximately 1/8 inch in size and requires water pressure to force the sealant into the leak. In foam-insulated spas, cure time may be extended if insulation is saturated.

For best results in heavily saturated spas, draining the spa and allowing the area to dry for several days may improve curing before refilling.
