Leisure Time® Spa 56 Chlorinating Granules provide a powerful, concentrated source of chlorine specifically designed for hot tubs and spas. This fast-dissolving granular sanitizer effectively disinfects spa water, keeping it clean, clear, and safe for soaking.

EPA-approved and easy to use, Spa 56 helps maintain proper sanitizer levels while quickly eliminating bacteria and contaminants. Regular shocking after use helps destroy organic bather waste, such as oils, lotions, and perspiration, to maintain balanced, sparkling spa water.

Dosage

• Start-Up: 1/2 oz per 500 gallons of spa water
• Maintenance: 1/2 oz per 500 gallons of spa water as needed
• Superchlorination: 1 oz per 500 gallons of spa water

Directions

Start-Up

1. Add 1/2 oz per 500 gallons of spa water prior to entering the spa.
2. Wait 5 minutes and test chlorine residual.
3. Residual chlorine should read between 2–3 ppm.
4. Add additional product if needed until the proper level is reached.

Maintenance

1. Add product daily or as needed to maintain 2–3 ppm chlorine.
2. Broadcast granules evenly across the water surface.
3. Allow at least 5 minutes of circulation before testing.
4. Heavy bather use, oils, or lotions may increase chlorine demand.
5. Maintain spa pH between 7.2–7.8 for best results.

Superchlorination

1. Every 2–4 weeks, add 1 oz per 500 gallons of spa water.
2. Thoroughly clean the spa and run the filtration system.
3. Resume normal use when chlorine returns to 2–3 ppm.
